BIO:

For more than 30 years, Prof. Offen work has focused on the biology of neurological diseases in Tel Aviv University, Israel. The research uses advanced methods, such as CRISPR/Cas9 for gene modification and multiple platforms for the delivery of therapeutics into the brain, including mesenchymal stem cells and exosomes. His work has appeared in over 200 publications and more than 15,000 citations (H- index 73). Prof. Offen is a co-inventor of more than three dozen patents, on stem cells, exosomes, and gene therapy, some of which served as the basis for biotech companies such as Brainstorm Cell Therapeutics, Stem Cell Medicine, eggXYt and several enterprise startups.
