On January 22, 2026, UC-Exploratório in Coimbra will host the 2nd Meeting of the Study Group on Neuroimmunology and Encephalitis (GENIE).

Following the success of the first edition, which attracted around 50 participants, the meeting returns on a larger scale, reflecting the growing interest in the area.

The program includes lectures and a round table with national and international experts, as well as a new feature: sessions dedicated to people affected by Autoimmune Encephalitis (patients and caregivers). The meeting thus aims to create a space for dialogue, bringing together clinical research, clinical practice, and the lived experience of patients.

GENIE invites researchers, healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers to participate in this meeting.
