Ask me Science

Overview

Project Summary

Project that involved CNC researchers and high school students and teachers. Under the motto “The world looks so different after learning science” – stated by Richard Feynman in 1966, at the fifteenth annual meeting of the National Science Teachers Association in New York City, the project aimed to bring closer researchers and the school population. Researchers participated in a competition, made of three editions, with several activities that promoted the interaction between students and researchers. Students elected the researcher that they considered to have better communication skills. The winners won a prize, in the form of consumable materials for their labs. This project was supported by Ciência Viva, in the scope of the contest “Escolher Ciência” that happened between 2013 and 2014.
