Today, April 24th, is Laboratory Animal Day.

In order to guarantee animal welfare and the right conditions for research, there are facilities called vivariums. The University of Coimbra visited our vivarium, located at UC Biotech in Cantanhede, and spoke to our researchers Cristina Márquez and Paula Mota.
