Susana Teixeira Magalhães is the Head of the Unit for responsible Conduct in Research at Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde – i3S (Universidade do Porto), PhD in Bioethics by Portuguese Catholic University with a dissertation intitled "Bioethics and Literature: between Imagination and Responsibility” (If-Press, 2016), and a researcher in the areas of Narrative Medicine and Research Ethics. She is a Lecturer at University Fernando Pessoa and an invited Lecturer at Portuguese Catholic University and at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. She has been coordinating, together with Paula Silva (FMUP, IPATIMUP-i3S), a Group of Study and Reflection on Narrative Medicine (Grupo de Estudos e Reflexão em Medicina Narrativa -- GERMEN):
